Prayer for road safety travel

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts, recognizing the precious gift of life You have granted us and the many journeys we undertake on the roads of this world. We pray for Your divine guidance and protection over all those who travel these highways and byways. We ask for Your mercy and grace to envelop us as we navigate the paths of life, and we specifically lift up the cause of road safety before You.
We acknowledge, Lord, that the roads can be treacherous, and accidents can happen in the blink of an eye. We ask for Your watchful eye to be upon all who travel, whether by car, bicycle, motorcycle, or on foot. Grant us the wisdom and presence of mind to make responsible choices, to obey traffic rules, and to be considerate of others.
Bless the hands of those who maintain and construct our roadways, Lord, that they may build safe and reliable infrastructure. Guide the hearts of those in authority to enact and enforce laws that promote safety on our roads, and grant courage to those who enforce them.
We pray for those who have suffered the loss of loved ones due to road accidents, that You may provide them with comfort and strength during their times of grief. Heal the wounded, both in body and spirit, and grant them the strength to move forward.
Dear Lord, we humbly ask for protection from distractions, fatigue, and impairment while driving. Help us to be patient and compassionate on the road, showing kindness to our fellow travelers.
